:: Description and Basic Information ::
Boston’s major airport, Logan International Airport, (1(800) 23-LOGAN) carries most domestic and international flights. Located in East Boston, Logan airport is accessible by subway, bus, taxi, and car. If you’re driving, be prepared to pay steep parking fees—about $4.00 an hour and up to $18.00 a day.

Logan Airport handles about 26 million passengers a year, but it is fairly easy to navigate. The cheapest way to get from Logan is by using the free shuttle buses to the subway station, known as the MBTA, or the 'T'. Follow the signs to the buses and taxis, and the Logan shuttle will whisk you to the MBTA Blue Line, as well as the Water Transportation Terminal and Satellite Parking. The shuttle operates seven days per week, from 4 am to 1 am. All shuttle buses are wheelchair lift equipped, and allow plenty of room for your luggage. There are also MBTA buses to take you to local areas in and around Boston. Most bus fares are just .60 cents.
